Allright, We've got a buddy with a house in Rockport sos I'm going on a maiden voyage out of goose next friday. Anybody care to walk me through it again? Thinkin about hunting the back of Bray then exploring the Brundrett lakes(there may be some new levees there). shallow reefs aren't such a concern, but I'd rather not drive up on a dry one, or get into any wide expanses of deep water. I'm pretty familiar with all the reef names and such. Fisch? BB? Chris? Reddude? any help?

Dude, get a Top Spot. With your boat there is actually a quick way but it's hard to explain. Most airboats cut through Dunahm and Sundowner bays to get to Mesquite rather than going around the point and up through Carlos. I've seen airboats go straight through Dunham to Sundowner then into the mouth of Mesquite and "over". From there you will need to explore a little bit to get into Brundrett. But do get a Top-Spot. This is not something you'll want to do before daylight.
Don't blame me! I voted for McCain.

Top spot? never heard of it. Come on Fisch! you know me better than that. Certainly I've looked at that a million times. Cutting through sundowner is a no go due to whoopers. My GPS shows more detail than the topsot. I guess Ill hang a right at the last poles out of goose, hug the reefs and the ANWR shoreline and up the intercoastal and hang a right at the poles into Mesquite then hug ayers reef and the shoreline over to Bray. Should take 10 minutes or so

Fished only a little while (30 mins) by cedar bayou after blasting last Friday. Hit a secret drainage by a flat a stone's throw from bray. Caught a 30" red, an 18 inch trout, and a 20" red jigging with a soft plastic in a 1' area. We made one drift in Big Brundrett lake and caught two 20" reds on a spoon and soft plastic. If this lake is legal it will be a private AB only cast and blast destination
